We just wanted to have the opportunity to thank Andrea and her entire staff for their professionalism and care during one the hardest moments of our lives. Our situation was different than others as our loved one died in another state and we had no family or resources there which was so scary. The funeral home our father was taken to was unknown to us but thankfully not to Andrea, she had someone else with a similar situation in the same area and had researched several options for them at the time and thankfully the funeral home we used was one she had worked with in the past. She was able to reassure us right away that our loved one would be well cared for. She worked in collaboration with this funeral home so all our wishes were met. We were then able to have our fathers services at Plainville Funeral Home.

When you work with Andrea and her staff they make you feel like you are their only client. Andrea leaves no stone unturned, she never rushes you, she answers all of your questions and has wonderful ideas on how to honor your loved one. Every service we have been to there has been unique and special. We are so lucky to have her in our community and cannot thank her enough for all she has done for our family ❤️

In the past 6 months I lost both my mother and aunt. It was a difficult time for my family but was made easier by the care shown to us by the staff at Plainville Funeral Home. Both my mother and aunt were dedicated nurses so Blaire recommended a Nightingale Service that was offered by the Ct Nurses Honor Guard. It was a beautiful ceremony held during the wake. A wonderful tribute to my mom, my aunt and all nurses. My family thanks both Blaire and Andrea and ther staff for the attention to detail and caring demonstrated to all of us throughout the funeral.

My mom was full of life, an avid gardener, birdwatcher and passionate about nature and being outdoors. Having never had to plan a funeral before I did not know what to expect, I just knew I wanted it to honor my mother's personality and life.
I immediately knew I could not have her services at any funeral home, it needed to reflect her, it needed to be bright, clean, airy, peaceful and happy. I had driven past Plainville Funeral Home many times since it had opened admiring the beauty of the building, landscaping and ease of parking. When my mom passed, I knew that was where I would want to bring her, I knew that is what she deserved.
Upon walking into the building I felt an overwhelming sense of comfort and peace. It is not your traditional antiquated funeral home, dark and depressing, but rather peaceful and inviting. It is a place intended to provide a sense of calm, comfort and serenity for families to gather to pay respects to their loved ones.
Upon meeting with Andrea it made perfect sense this was her passion and vision for her business. She was professional and compassionate, she took her time with us and had a genuine interest in getting to know my mom and how we could make her funeral radiate her personality. I had very specific nontraditional requests for a destination funeral in a garden for my mother. I wanted her funeral to be where she loved to be most. Andrea took note of all my desires, assuring me she would make all the necessary arrangements to make my moms service as I visioned.
At the conclusion of our meeting, although my heart still heavy with sorrow, I had an overwhelming sense of peace knowing my precious mom was in Andrea's care and that her arrangements would be as beautiful as she was.
The communication with Andrea and her partner Jesse on the days leading up to my moms funeral were unsurpassed. Every detail was carefully executed, leaving me no worry or stress. Her funeral was perfect, the details, the garden and even a surprise of the release of white doves. I know my mom must have felt like royalty as she smiled down from Heaven. Andrea and Jesse are the best in the business and my mother's services reflected their care, professionalism and competence. Andrea and Jesse made the last gift I was able to give my amazing mother one that honored her life. Although I hope to not have to lose another loved one, I am at peace knowing when it does happen that I have Andrea and Jesse to hold my hand.
