It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William C. Langley, 82, of Plainville, who peacefully departed this world on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at THOCC- New Britain General Campus surrounded by his loved ones. A fighter, with a lifelong love for boxing, he fought hard until his final days with strength and courage.
Bill was born on July 18,1941 in New Britain to the late Maynard and Mollie (Craig) Langley. He leaves behind a son William Langley and granddaughter Kayla Langley of Fort Lauderdale Florida, daughter Angela Gavin and fiancé Sean Taylor, grandchildren Bella, Cayden, and Addison Taylor (affectionately known as Silly Lilly to her Pa) all of Plainville; his son Anthony Gavin of Plainville; one niece, one nephew, and many friends.
Honoring Bill’s wishes of wanting a party, a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at The Salty Dog Tavern, 24 Whiting St, Plainville.
