Wallen R. Caron, (Wally) 76, of Bristol, formerly of Plainville, passed on with his family by his side on The Lord’s Day, Sunday, September 9, 2018.
Born in Fort Kent, Maine on March 28, 1942, he was the only child of the late Alcide and Yvonne (Ouellette) Caron. Raised in Plainville, he attended local schools, graduating in 1961 from Plainville High School. He and Jeannine shared 56 years of love and devotion, raising two daughters who were the light of his life and he was beloved Papa to 3 grandsons, whom he adored. He will be greatly missed by his devoted family. Wally was a faithful Christian and longtime member of Middletown Bible Church, where he leaves many friends. A true fighter to the end, he is now pain free and has gained an everlasting peace. 2 Corinthians 5:8….absent from the body and present with the Lord.
In addition to his loving wife, Jeannine, he leaves his daughters, Tammy Duprey and her husband, Dean and Debbie Tillbrook and her husband, Jim; his three grandsons, Matthew, Ethan and Logan Tillbrook; and his last surviving aunt, Eva Deschaine, who is 102 years old living in Fort Kent, ME.
Wally may be remembered with contributions to the donor’s favorite charity.
Funeral services in celebration of Wally’s life will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Middletown Bible Church, 349 East St, Middletown. Graveside committal services will be held following the church luncheon at 2:00 p.m. at Forestville Cemetery, Circle St, Forestville. Family and friends may gather on Thursday evening, from 6-8 p.m. at Plainville Funeral Home, 81 Broad St, Plainville.
