Tyler Corriveau Obituary

Tyler Francis Corriveau left his family and friends heartbroken when his earthly journey came to an end on October 16, 2023 following a hard fought battle with Guillain-Barré syndrome.

Born on November 3, 1999, he was one of two children to Jennifer Grzeszczak of New Britain and the late Nathan Corriveau. Tyler was raised and educated in Plainville, having excelled on the track and field team during his years at Plainville High School, and attended Goodwin University.  Tyler pursued his passion in the field of Physical Therapy, recently working as an aid at Bone and Joint Institute at Hartford Hospital, where he made a lasting impact on countless patients, and was currently enlisted in the US Army Reserves, proudly serving his country on active duty.

Tyler had a love for cooking, and an infectious enthusiasm for sports as a loyal fan of the Seattle Seahawks, NY Yankees, and the Boston Celtics. His eclectic taste in music and collectibles reflected his vibrant personality and unique character. Tyler's fashion-forward sense was showcased by his bold choice of attire, with pink being his go-to color, symbolizing his confidence and zest for life.  Gone from our sight, he will never be gone from the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mom, he leaves his little sister and best friend, Tori; his soul mate, Brianna Pintavalle with whom he was set to spend forever with in April 2024; his “Gram and Poppie” Francis and Debbie Cawley; his grandmother Sandra Corriveau; his aunts Amy Corriveau and Rebecca Voisine and her husband Rodney; his uncle, Kevin Corriveau; cousins Alexis and Ari Corriveau and Sarah, Jake and Kathryn Voisine; countless friends and extended family, including his future in-laws, Lynn and Brian Pintavalle and John Pintavalle; and his adored cats, Gus, Stormi and Lily.

Family and friends may gather as we celebrate the remarkable life of Tyler on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Plainville Funeral Home, 81 Broad St, Plainville.  Prayers and words of remembrance will be shared at 3:00 p.m., followed by military honors.  For online expressions of sympathy, please visit www.PlainvilleFuneralHome.com
