Timothy John Fascendini

Timothy John Fascendini, 35 of Plainville, devoted son, father, brother and friend, left us unexpectedly and far too soon on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

Born in New Britain on June 12, 1985, he was one of four children of John and Margaret “Meg” (Coughlin) Fascendini.  A lifelong resident, Tim was a 2003 graduate of Plainville High School and familiar face at Gnazzo’s where he has worked since the age of 16, most recently as the friendly well-known butcher and award winning wing specialist.  He never met a food he didn’t like and loved to experiment with new recipes, which were typically hot and spicy (much like his sense of humor!)  His kind and caring personality found him pursuing a career in nursing, training in the field of Practical Nursing at Lincoln Tech in New Britain.  A Red Sox fan and avid reader, Tim’s greatest joy was being a fun-loving and devoted father to his boys who were his world. He enjoyed bowling and playing catch with his sons and of course video games and reading with them.   Gone but never to be forgotten, his presence will be felt through his children, family and friends, all who will miss him beyond measure.

In addition to his parents, he leaves his sons, Evan, Caleb and Jordan and their mother Stephanie Nimro; his brothers, Greg and his wife Erin and William and his wife Lauren; his sister, Mary; his grandmother, Simone Fascendini; his nieces and nephews, Dominic, Sebastian, Annabella, and Rhett; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a trust fund that will be set up in his memory for his sons c/o his father John Fascendini, 16 Peach Orchard Hill Plainville, CT 06062.
