Sandra (Slade) Bouchard, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on August 3, 2024.
Born on March 3, 1964, she was one of five children to Sandra (Krasawa) Slade and the late Richard J. Slade, Sr. Sandra was a talented individual who excelled in various aspects of her life. Raised and educated in Plainville, Sandra built a successful career in bookkeeping and was known for her meticulous attention to detail. She was also a creative soul who enjoyed sewing and crafting handmade dolls and clothing for her loved ones. Her expertise in baking and decorating cakes brought joy to many family gatherings, and her love for reading was evident in her extensive collection of books. Sandra was a woman who radiated kindness and had an infectious sense of humor that brightened the lives of those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and creativity that will be cherished by all who knew her.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Daniel Bouchard; her daughter Stephanie Nadeau; her son Scott Nadeau and his girlfriend, Melissa Correll; her siblings, Nancy (David) McLellan, Adam (Michelle) Slade, and Jarred (Zoe) Slade; and her nieces and nephews, with whom she shared a special bond, Kate, Adam, Jr., Andrew, Harrison, Benjamin and Samantha. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Slade, Jr. and her son in law, Charles Parks.
Family and friends may gather on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Plainville Funeral Home, 81 Broad St, Plainville. Words of remembrance led by Life Celebrant Jesse Gnazzo will be shared at 11:00 a.m., followed by committal at St. Joseph Cemetery, Plainville.
