Patricia Beaudin Obituary

Patricia Mae (Nicholas) Beaudin, 59 of Plainville, passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side, on Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut.  She was the devoted wife of Joseph Beaudin, with whom she shared 30 years of love, travels, and life adventures.

Born in New Britain on April 11, 1963, she was one of four daughters to Andrew and Dorothy (Jehnings) Nicholas, graduated from Southington High School and received her Associate’s Degree from Bay Path College.  Pat, as she was known to many, had a career with American Airlines for more than twenty years, where she enjoyed helping travelers with their bookings, and was often called upon by family and friends to assist them with their travel plans.  She and Joe enjoyed many years of travels together.  Pat and Joe were devoted “parents” to four rescue pups, who they doted over throughout their life together.   Pat was the “cool aunt” who loved spending quality time with her nieces and nephews, who could always count on her and Joe to play board games and take them to the most fun places.  An avid black jack player and casino visitor, she also embraced quiet times at home, reading a good romance novel or the latest celebrity gossip.  The life of the party, Pat will be missed tremendously.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she leaves her spoiled dog, “Boomer”, her sisters, Pamela Martin (Joe Martinez), Cindy Paul (Ken), and Linda Crea; her nieces and nephews who loved her so dearly, Nicholas Tosta, Mackenzie Martin, Jason Tosta, Nathan Paul, Matthew Martin, and Julia Paul; her mother-in-law, Joanne Pylant; her father-in-law Fernand (Joe) Beaudin; and her sister-in-law Patti Beaudin. Pat also leaves behind a host of aunts and uncles, friends, and more than 50 cousins and second cousins from across the country including Connecticut, North Carolina, Texas and California. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Frank Pylant.
