Myles Edward Biardi Sr., loving husband and father, 84, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. He was the devoted husband to Susan (Collin) Biardi and together they shared many wonderful years of marriage, raising a family on the foundation of love and kindness.
Myles was born on August 13, 1937 to the late George J. and Mabel R. (Knowles) Biardi. Myles lived by the motto that kindness and love are what is most important in life and he withheld those values through his entire life. He was a selfless gentleman, always putting his family before himself. His devotion to his family and loyalty was unmatched. Through his wife’s sickness with dementia, Myles spent every day by her side through the hard times of her not remembering him. He maintained a positive attitude towards life and whatever may come his way. Myles was a jokester, always cracking jokes to make others laugh which naturally made him the life of the party. He enjoyed gardening, watching college basketball, and above all spending time with his family. Myles leaves his family and friends heartbroken leaving a legacy of kindness and gratitude, as he always showed that to everyone he met.
Myles leaves behind his wife, Susan (Collin) Biardi, his daughter, Jessica Burgess and her husband, Derek, his son, Myles E. Biardi Jr., and his grandchildren, Emmie, Bryce and Jaxon Burgess and Ashley Biardi.
Following Myles’ wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. The staff at Plainville Funeral Home, 81 Broad Street, Plainville extends their gratitude to the Biardi family for their trust in handling the arrangements.
