Martha (George) Trask, beloved daughter of the late Ida (Brunetti/Brunette) and Jacob John George, was born on May 25,1938, at New Britain General Hospital. She was predeceased by her brother, Samuel John George.
A devoted and nurturing mother, Martha had five daughters, Sandra, Cinthia, Susan, Cheryl and Sarah, and four grandchildren, Taryn, Tia, Anthony and Julia, all of whom she loved deeply and unconditionally.
On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, Martha completed her journey on earth, leaving a legacy of love, quiet strength, and spiritual grace. She lived in the Spirit, walked with the Angels, and Conscience was her Guide. These values shaped the way she navigated the world and impacted the lives of those around her.
She now rests in peace, reunited with those loved ones who went before, walking once more with the angels.
Services in celebration of Martha’s life will be held privately at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Martha and to provide assistance to Veterans in need may be made to the Veterans Strong Community Center, 111 North Main Street, Bristol, CT 06010 or by going to www.vetstronginc.org/donate. The staff at Plainville Funeral Home, 81 Broad Street, Plainville extend their appreciation to the Trask family for their trust.
