Lucille Mary (Naples) Dubois, 71 of Bristol, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2023, surrounded by her family. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Lucille was the epitome of grace, strength, and unwavering love for her family and community.
Born on September 30, 1952, in New Britain, she was one of four children to the late William and Angeline (Aparo) Naples. Lucille embraced her role as a devoted wife and mother, settling in Bristol where she raised her family alongside her loving husband of forty-five years, Norman. After working for The Hartford for 17 years, Lucy, alongside her daughter, put her business savviness to work, opening two locations of Curves for Women in New Britain, helping their clients look and feel their best for over six years. Upon retiring in 2007, she continued to be the domestic goddess that she was, and embraced her favorite role of grandma to the fullest extent. Lucy’s true passion was bringing joy to others. A shopaholic, she showered her family and friends with carefully chosen gifts to bring a smile to their face, and she was selfless volunteer, who dedicated her time and energy to various local organizations, with Brian's Angels holding a special place in her heart. Known for her magnetic aura, Lucy effortlessly formed immediate connections with everyone she met. She possessed an innate ability to make others feel heard and valued, always leaving a lasting impression. Her steadfast love and unwavering support made her the glue that held her family together. She made every moment matter and every occasion a reason to celebrate, creating lasting memories and a bond that will endure beyond her physical presence.
In addition to her husband, Norman, she leaves her children Jay Dubois and his wife Carrie, Danielle Lamothe and her husband Doug, Laura Wzykowski and her husband Andy and Christine Dubois and her partner Connor; her adored grandchildren Alana Dubois, Caleb Hailey, Grace Dubois, Kayla Krevalin, Brianna Lamothe, Charis Krevalin, Nathan Hailey, Chase Krevalin, Kaiden Krevalin, and Mya Lamothe; and her great granddaughter Roselyn Nohemimer. She also leaves her siblings and their spouses, William and Karen Naples, Jr., Thomas and Kathy Naples, and Cynthia and Wayne Cyr; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Lucille may be remembered with contributions to Brian's Angels, PO Box 2111, Bristol CT 06010 or http://www.briansangels.org continuing her mission to spread kindness and support to those in need.
