In loving memory of Lisa (Mancinelli) Schlenk, who God has called home on December 2, 2024 after a long battle with cancer.
Lisa is survived by her daughters and her sons-in-law, Amanda Rossi and Ben Sulikowski, of Agawam, MA and Rachel Valerio and Cory Valerio, of West Hartford, CT; her sister, Lynne Sallinger, of Southington CT; her grandchildren, Erin and Kieran Smith, of Terryville, CT and Stephen Smith, of Plainville, CT; and her nephew, Jason Sallinger and his wife, Alicia Sallinger, of Raleigh, NC. Lisa was predeceased by her parents, Warren and Lorraine (Marden) Mancinelli and her niece, Erica Sallinger. She will be also be greatly missed by her loyal companion, her little dog Pippi.
Lisa was an avid gardener, a voracious reader of historical fiction and loved to travel.
The family wishes to thank her doctors at Smilow Cancer Center and Masonicare Hospice for their dedication and care.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date. Lisa may be remembered with contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at http://www.stjude.org. The staff at Plainville Funeral Home, 81 Broad Street, Plainville extends their appreciation to Lisa’s family for their trust.
