Lee Ellen Jurgen

Lee Ellen Jurgen of Bristol, wife of the late Michael Perrotti, Sr., passed away peacefully on Friday, November 10, 2023.

Born in New Britain on May 2, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Ernest F. and Marie (Schneider) Jurgen.  She resided in New Britain and Old Saybrook during her younger years, before moving to Plainville, where she was a 1961 graduate of Plainville High School.   She held a longtime career as a legal secretary, while continuing to operate her own typing service since 1977.

She is survived by her two aunts, Agnes Jurgen and Catherine Egan; two nieces and their families, Margo George and Tracy D’Amico; several cousins, including Walter Jurgen; Michael’s three sons and their families, Michael Perrotti, Jr., William Perrotti and Denis Perrotti; and her best friend and road trip partner, Thomas Carney.
