Leaond (Len) Hollins Noble, devoted Father and Papa, hardworking businessman, and car enthusiast, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by the love and laughter of his family on January 8, 2024.
Born with an unwavering work ethic, Len embraced the value of hard work from a young age. A graduate of Hall High School in West Hartford, he dedicated his life to supporting his family and, for many years, owned and operated Oliver's Supermarket in Prospect until his retirement in 2019. Additionally he proudly served his country in the National Guard as a Military Police Officer for seven years. Len’s love for cars was undeniable. He was the proud owner of two Hudsons, and found great joy in attending car shows, sharing his knowledge and comradery with fellow enthusiasts. Beyond his love for automobiles, Len's active participation in the towns he resided and worked in demonstrated his dedication to giving back and his honesty and kindness made him an exemplary figure in the communities where he lived, worked and supported. A history buff, he’d spend hours engrossed in deep conversations about significant historical events and entertained friends and family with his captivating storytelling. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, hard work, and a deep appreciation for family and community.
Len will be dearly missed by his children, Lori (Pierre) Cabrila, Kelly (Denis) Perrotti, and Michael (Kristyn Zygmunt) Noble and his grandchildren to which he was a proud Papa, Jake (Rachel) Cabrila, Jared (Amy Ieronimo) Cabrila, and Grace Perrotti. He also leaves his sister, Redempta Quinlan and her family, along with many special friends. He was predeceased by his son, James Noble and his Uncle Tony with whom he shared a special bond.
Honoring Len’s dedication to his community, he may be remembered with contributions to a local food pantry of the donor’s choice.
