Justin Nicholas Beckley, 28, of Burlington, loving son and cherished friend affectionately known as “Becks,” passed away peacefully following a brief illness on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. He was surrounded by his loving family and memories of a life well-lived.
Born on September 14, 1995 in Bristol, CT son to Heidi Beckley, Justin was a gentle soul who found joy in the simple things in life. Growing up in Burlington and graduating from Lewis Mills High School, Becks dedicated seven years of his life to Quality Coils in Bristol, where he excelled as a molder. His unconditional love for his loyal Pitbull, Lily, was evident to all who knew him. Together, Justin and Lily spent countless hours together going on car rides or playing, providing unwavering companionship to one another.
A true outdoorsman, Becks found peace and solace in the great outdoors. Whether fishing, quad riding, dirt biking, jet skiing at Eagle Lake, or honing his shooting skills at his home range, he reveled in the beauty of nature. Justin dedicated hours watching videos to strengthen his talents; a lot of his knowledge and skills he was blessed with were self-taught. His passion for gaming, music, and podcasts added vibrant colors to his life, and he shared these interests with friends and loved ones.
Beck's kindness and empathy knew no bounds, and he treasured the friendships he cultivated throughout his life. He cared deeply for his friends and family and relished in spending time surrounded by ones he loved. Justin was a fan of the Denver Broncos and enjoyed to watch them play and root them on. His legacy of kindness and joy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Leaving his family completely heartbroken, Justin is survived by his mom, Heidi Beckley and his step-dad, Jay Harris, his beloved dog, Lily, his brother, Brian Harris and his wife, Christian, his grandma, Linda Beckley, his aunts, Dawn Beckley and her husband, Peter Stumpf and Holly Burgio and her husband, Paolo, his nephews, Bryson and Justin Harris, his cousins, Rachel and Marissa Stumpf, and many, many close friends and coworkers. Justin was predeceased by his grandpa, Alan Beckley and his nana and poppy, Sherry and Donald Dubay.
In honoring Justin’s love for his dog, Lily, please consider making a donation in his memory to the organization of your choice that supports rescuing dogs and animals.
