With heavy hearts and joyful memories, we celebrate the life of Jesse Uadiski, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this earthly life on Sunday, January 26, 2025. Jesse was a vibrant spirit who embraced life with enthusiasm and kindness.
Raised and educated in Southington, he settled in Plainville with the love of his life of over 55 years, Betty (Michaud), where they built a beautiful life together, raising two strong and independent daughters. Jesse was a lover of the great outdoors. As an avid fisherman, boater and passionate golfer, he scored not one, but two remarkable holes in one. Never one to sit idle, Jesse worked in various factories, and transitioned into a fulfilling retirement as a landscaper, where he took immense pride in cultivating what many called the best lawn in the neighborhood. Known for his unique bond with backyard wildlife, he could often be found with chipmunks and squirrels eating out of his hand, a testament to his gentle heart. One with nature, he always found joy in simple moments.
A kind and gentle soul, Jesse was young at heart and the life of every gathering. Whether on the dance floor or gathering around the table with loved ones, his laughter, pranks and mischievousness filled the air. Jesse was the quintessential Mr. Fix-It, equipped with duct tape and bungee cords, always ready to repair things that weren’t even broken. He was a humble man, whose love for his family was profound, and none brought him more joy than his 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren earning him the title of proud Papa. Small but mighty, he will be missed beyond words, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
In addition to his wife Betty, he leaves his daughters, Dawn and Alice; 2 very special sons-in- law, Antonio LaBella and Michael Lento; his grandchildren Chad, Kayla, Steven, Elizabeth, Jennifer, and Caterina; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Abigail, Ethan, Ben, Nesme, Alexis, Ryan and Eloise; along with his extended family and friends.
Honoring Jesse’s wishes, his life will be celebrated privately. His love for animals may be remembered with contributions to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd, Newington, CT 06111 or http://www.cthumane.org
