Felisha Annmarie Matthews, a vibrant and free-spirited woman whose love knew no bounds, was tragically taken from this earthly life on Friday, March 27, 2026, alongside her two beloved daughters. She leaves behind a legacy of fierce devotion, authenticity, and love that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Felisha was raised and educated in Bristol, where she built the foundation of the strong, independent woman she would become. A graduate of Bristol Central High School, she continued her education at Tunxis Community College, earning her certification as a medical assistant. Part of her professional life was working as a dispatcher in Waterbury , yet, of all the roles she held, none brought her greater pride or joy than being a mother.
Felisha was the heart and soul of her feisty crew, the loving and devoted mother to her daughters, Mileena Elizabeth and Ava Lee Rose. Her girls were her entire world, the center of her days and the greatest joy of her life. She embraced motherhood with passion, strength, and a deep, unconditional love that defined who she was.
Known for her artistic spirit, bold personality, and love of animals which she passed on to her daughters. Felisha lived life unapologetically on her own terms. She spoke her mind, stood firm in her beliefs, and inspired others to do the same. Her creativity, warmth, and authenticity left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Felisha cherished her family deeply and found happiness in bringing loved ones together, creating memories and traditions with those closest to her. Though her life was cut far too short, Felisha’s spirit, love, and deep devotion to her daughters will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She leaves behind her parents, brothers, sister, grandparents ,aunts, uncles, and cousins.
