Elizabeth “Betty” A. (Pedrolini) Walston, 101, of Bristol passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025 while in the care of Bristol Hospital. She is now reunited with her loving husband, Harry, who predeceased her in 1997.
Betty was born on February 24, 1924 in Southington, CT daughter of the late Josephine (Pompey) and Dominic Pedrolini.
Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her loving family and her many beloved cats.
Betty graduated from Southington High School and worked as a beautician; it was at that time she would meet her soon to be husband, Harry, who worked at a nearby family diner. The two married in 1947 and raised their family in Bristol, while running The Walston’s Market on Divinity Street until 1985.
Betty is survived by her children, her primary caregiver June and her husband, Mark Pollard, Denise Walston, and Matthew Walston and his wife, Jean; her grandchildren, Alexa and Peter Aldrich, Ethan Pollard and Angela Jones, and Taylor and Clark McMahon; her one beloved great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Aldrich; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her two brothers, Robert and Thomas Pedrolini, and her sister, Jeanne Raducha.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025 at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 235 Maltby Street, Bristol. Family and friends are welcome to gather at Mass and everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial with committal prayers will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 522 Terryville Avenue, Bristol. There are no calling hours.
