She is survived by her children, Helen and Vincent Bergin, of Farmington CT, Patrick and Joana O’Hanlon, of Hernando, FL, and Laurence and Patricia O’Hanlon, of Marine City, MI. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, Nicholas and Rachel Bergin, Natalie Martinez, Tony and Vonny Correia, Raymond O’Hanlon, Riley and Ian O’Hanlon, and Brendan and Riley Brown. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond O’Hanlon, her mother, Margaret (Dixon) Marshall, her father, William Marshall, and her brother, William Marshall.
Born in Scotland, Elizabeth moved to England at a youthful age after the passing of her mother. She was reared by her aunt and uncle, William and Elizabeth (Betty) Walton, who became her adopted parents, whom she loved dearly.
After marrying and starting a family, Elizabeth and Raymond immigrated to the United States in 1971. After spending time raising her three children, Elizabeth held various roles at Stanley Black and Decker and Bristol Spring Company.
In her leisure time Elizabeth loved listening to music, reading romantic novels, having breakfasts with the “English ladies” and attending any sport, concert or school activities of her grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Bristol Health Home Care and Hospice. Their expertise, kindness, and unwavering commitment were truly remarkable. We are forever grateful for the support and care they provided to our entire family.
