Elizabeth M. (Fallis) Bochinski, 90, of Newington, beloved wife of the late Edmund J. Bochinski, passed away at home peacefully on January 24, 2024 with the loving care of her daughter over the past few years. Born on May 5, 1933 in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Petronella (Popovich) Fallis. She previously lived in New Britain with her husband of 58 years where they raised their 2 daughters and were members of the former All Saints Catholic Church. Elizabeth was a graduate of New Britain High School, Class of 1951. She was a beautiful, loving, kind, and caring mother and friend who gave to everyone from her heart. A talented artist who loved to paint, draw, decorate and landscape, she was skilled at drawing whimsical caricatures to the delight of others. Her true passion was the world of collector dolls and plates. She also enjoyed trips to Cape Cod and the Connecticut shoreline, going on cherished daytrips with her 2 daughters, phone calls with her niece every Thursday and having a Kentucky Derby hat party to celebrate her birthday each year. She held Jesus Christ close in her heart as her Lord and Savior and was always there to listen and help those in need. She was predeceased by her husband, Edmund J. Bochinski, her daughter, Judith J. (Bochinski) DiBiase, and her sister, Rita M. Beatty Grady. She is survived by her loving daughter, Julianne Bochinski, of Westport, CT, 2 grandsons, Andrew and Alexander, and her beloved niece and nephew, Alexis David of Louisiana and Dennis Beatty of New Britain.
