Denise Ann Walston, a devoted daughter, beloved sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, at the age of 73. Known for her warmth, curiosity, and artistic spirit, Denise touched the lives of many with her compassion and creativity.
Denise was born December 11, 1951 in Bristol, CT, the daughter of Elizabeth (Pedrolini) and Harry Walston.
Denise graduated from Bristol Eastern High School. She worked as a passionate photographer and as a dedicated professional with American Red Cross.
Denise is survived by her sister and primary caregiver, June, and her husband, Mark Pollard, her brother, Matthew and his wife, Jean Walston; and her nieces and nephews, Alexa and Peter Aldrich, Ethan Pollard and Angela Jones, Taylor and Clark McMahon and one beloved grandniece, Brooklyn Aldrich and her dear friend, Geanne Dunnett.
She was predeceased by her mother and father, Elizabeth and Harry Walston.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 235 Maltby Street, Bristol. Family and friends are welcome to gather at Mass and everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial with committal prayers will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 522 Terryville Avenue, Bristol. There are no calling hours.
