Danielle Marie (White) Hoadley

Danielle Marie (White) Hoadley, 54 of Bristol, passed away following a brief, hard fought battle with cancer on Sunday, March 26, 2023.  A devoted wife, mother, mom-mom, dog-mom, and loyal friend, she was surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in New Milford on November 14, 1968, she was the daughter of the late Katherine (Shears) White and Thomas and Eva White of Killingworth; and was the “adopted daughter” of Bill and Marilyn Palmer.  Raised and educated in New Milford, she was a 1986 graduate of New Milford High School, and settled in Bristol the following year where she raised her family and had a longtime career as an insurance agent.  She dabbled in all things crafty in her free time, tended to her vegetable gardens and had a passion for baking, most especially her famous and much loved cupcakes.  Danielle had many canine friends over the years as she fostered dogs through her affiliation with several area pet adoption agencies.  Remembered for her strength, resilience and devotion to her family, she will be missed beyond words.

She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Frederick Hoadley; her son, Ken Tenan and his fiancée Maria Ronchi; her daughters, Dr. Keri Hoadley and her husband, Charles Piehl and Kelly Conrad, her husband, Tanner and their children, Ruth and Theo Conrad; and her aunt, godmother and caregiver throughout her illness, Ruth Larson.  She was predeceased by her brother Alan White and leaves her sister-in-law, Vicki White, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.

In honor of Danielle’s love for animals, she may be remembered with contributions to a local animal rescue or shelter.
