Clifford James Logan, 95, lifelong resident of Plainville, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 14, 2022 at the Cherry Brook Health Care Center in Canton.
Born on July 8, 1927 in New Britain, CT he was one of six children to the late John and Josephine Stella (Sinskie) Logan. Cliff worked at the former GE in Plainville up until his retirement. A lover of the outdoors, he was an avid fisherman and enjoyed archery, skiing and maintaining his gardens each year. A cowboy at heart, Cliff could be seen most days wearing a cowboy hat, listening to country music and watching old westerns on TV.
Cliff is survived by his brother, Donald Robert Logan; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, John, Eugene, and Robert Logan, and Janet Mastrianni.
Family and friends may gather in celebration of Cliff’s life on Wednesday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Plainville Funeral Home, 81 Broad St. Plainville. A prayer service and words of remembrance will be shared at 11:00 a.m., followed by committal at St. Mary Cemetery in New Britain.
