Carmen M. (Begin) Gosselin, 93 of Meriden, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2023, in West Hartford, with her family by her side. Born on October 13, 1929, in Levis, Quebec, Canada, Carmen was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is now reunited with her husband of 70 years, Paul E. Gosselin, who predeceased her in 2019.
She is survived by her two sons, Pierre (Debra) Gosselin and Michael (Cody) Gosselin; her daughter, affectionately known as "the princess", Linda (Randy) Gosselin, four grandchildren, Kimberly, Christina, Melissa, and Randy Jr.; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Robert and Emille Begin.
Raised and educated in Canada, Carmen met the love of her life, Paul, in their small hometown of Levis. Their loving relationship spanned seven decades, and together they built a strong and supportive family. Carmen was the matriarch of her family and a devoted mother to her children, always putting their needs before her own. Her selfless nature and loving spirit were evident to all who knew her.
In addition to her dedication to her family, Carmen was a woman of many talents and interests. She was an accomplished knitter and crocheter, creating beautiful and intricate pieces that her family and friends will cherish for years to come. Her creative spirit extended to other crafts as well, and she was always eager to share her skills with others. Carmen also enjoyed bowling, and her fun-loving nature made her the life of the party at any gathering. Her legacy of love and creativity will live on in the hearts and memories of those she leaves behind.

Carmen’s life will be celebrated with a graveside service on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Laurent Cemetery, 1151 Hanover Ave, Meriden.
