Brian Jeffrey Buckley, 46, loving father, son, brother, passed away on December 18, 2023 after an extensive battle with ALS. He fought in strength and with resilience for his loved ones. He was the beloved father to the two loves of his life, his daughter Kayla Buckley and son Jeremy Buckley of Plainville, CT. Born on January 28, 1977, Brian graduated from Newington High School in 1995 and became a resident of Plainville, CT where he raised his family. Brian was a longtime manager and colleague of ShopRite for many years. He was an incredibly hard worker and loved his job, especially the people he worked alongside.
Brian was a respected family man who valued his children above all and devoted his life to giving the best to both Kayla and Jeremy. As a loving father, everything in his life had been for his children as they were the pure joys of his life. Brian loved listening to music and was a talented singer. He showcased his love for Rock and Heavy Metal by performing in several bands, including Black Orchard. Additionally, he loved sports and rooting for his two favorite teams: the Giants and the Red Sox. Brian was well-respected by everyone who knew him and he had an infectious laugh that drew others to him as everyone enjoyed his company.
In addition to his two children Kayla and Jeremy, Brian will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his loving sister Angela LaMonte, who supported him and his family during the duration of his battle; in addition to his best friend and caregiver Mary Abdelsame.
