Amy Fiorello, 46, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2026.
Born on September 29, 1979, Amy was the beloved daughter of the late Albert Fiorello, Sr. and Elaine (Matthews) Fiorello. Raised and educated in Waterbury, Amy was known for her kind heart and gentle spirit.
A talented violinist, Amy found joy and expression through music throughout her life. She was also a courageous cancer survivor whose strength and resilience inspired everyone who knew her.
Amy devoted her life to caring for others through her longtime career at Marrakech, where she formed lasting friendships and touched the lives of countless colleagues and individuals in her care. Her compassion, warmth, and selflessness left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Above all, Amy was a devoted sister to her brother, Albert, with whom she shared a close and loving bond.
Amy will be remembered for her caring nature, quiet strength, and the love she gave so freely to family, friends, and her community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her brother Albert, she leaves her half-brother, Jerrid Attilio; her aunts and their families, Terri Nichols, Peggy Casarella, Kimberly Mathews and Tracy Matthews; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
