Alfred S. Nesser

"The Family of Alfred Nesser is sad to announce the passing of our dear brother; he is now living among the angels.  Alfred, was a man of passionate and unselfish love.  Throughout the city of Lynn, Massachusetts where he made his home, he was known for being the type of man you could count on.  He was never too tired to lend a hand, never too poor to give.   He knew how to sing a song, and when he belted out the melodies of The Kingdom of God, he made hearts resound with joy.  We thank the Lord for having given us so many years with our dear brother, and we pray that the angels enjoy his company as much as we have. Alfred S. Nesser,67, of Lynn, MA, formerly of Plainville, passed away Tuesday May 26, 2020 at North Shore Medical Center-Salem Hospital in Salem, MA.

Alfred was born August 8, 1952 in Hartford, the third child of the late Richard and Anne (Jagiela) Nesser. He was a graduate of Plainville High School and had worked as a chef at various restaurants. He was a talented musician who had volunteered his time playing music for residents at many nursing homes. He ejoyed following Grace and Vessels. Alfred touched many lives and will be missed by his friends and family.

He leaves his sons, Jeremiah and David Nesser, his brother James Nesser of Derby, his sisters, Judith Gallagher of Plainville and Barbara Perrotti of Ormond Beach, FL, his grandchildren and his former wife Catherine Dunand.

Alfred’s family will celebrate his life with a private graveside service in Saint Joseph Cemetery in Plainville. The Plainville Funeral Home 81 Broad Street wishes to extend there thanks to the Nesser family for their trust.
