Noella A. (Perron) Paradis, 91, of Plainville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. She was the wife of the late Clifford Paradis.
Born in Biddeford, ME on December 23, 1928, she was one of eight children to the late John and Ilexia Perron. She and Clifford were married in 1954, settling in Plainville in the 1960’s where they raised their four children. Their Cooke St. home was always open to friends and neighbors, all who enjoyed her home cooked meals and were the recipients of endless vegetables and delicacies that she canned year after year from their extensive backyard garden. A lifelong Red Sox fan, and avid reader of James Patterson novels, her proudest role was Memere and she loved nothing more than having a house full of people. She will be greatly missed, leaving her family with a legacy of love, stories, and traditions that will forever be remembered.
She is survived by her children, Mark (Norina) Paradis, Debra (Paul) Case, Lori (Braden) McCordic, and Dawn (Joseph) Therriault; her 8 adored grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren with one on the way; her brother, Marcel Perron; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her 6 siblings.
In lieu of flowers, Noella may be remembered with contributions to the Plainville Community Food Pantry, PO Box 233 Plainville, CT 06062.
Honoring Noella’s wishes, her family will celebrate her life privately.
